Meanwhile, Lord Captain Daniel Mortlock begins his recovery from the recent duel as Rael and Shariah continue to escort him south toward the lands of Duke Ranen, distancing themselves from the unseen foe beneath the boughs of the ancient wood… The Obsidian Crown is an adventure scenario featuring elements of horror, intrigue, and warfare set in a unique fantasy world. If you enjoy this episode, we recommend you explore our previous Actual Play episodes. The system is Savage Worlds. Players use Hero Lab to manage their characters. In our very first episode of The Shadow Initiative, Miles Silver, a recruiting specialist for the mysterious Crane Organization, boards a plane in Zurich on the heels of his latest acquisition, world-renowned mathematician Harold Jacobs. Little does he know that he will soon be required to put his composure to the test and locate other suitable candidates capable of handling extraordinary situations when the plane somehow slides into another dimension and begins falling apart around them… This is our first experience with The Strange RPG from Monte Cook Games, played online over Roll20.
